Yeeeehaw, so I attended a course. It was great! I never received any formal education until now. I recommend it! XD
Also, the teacher told me I should/must/lol apply to this... er, super awesome school, because I could totally get in, no prob. >_> W00000t. Massive boost of confidence...!! I mean, hearing that from a pro, maaaaaan, thanksss! X3
Actually, during the course we sketched mainly women, but I like drawing dudes moar, I dunno, I think they're so much easier to draw..?! And this particular semi-ancient man of 76 - an old soldier - had a lot more interesting textures and angles that cast off interesting shades and... blah blah.
